A panel titled “Fighting Against Addiction: Prevention and Awareness” was organized by Hitit University, Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Nursing, Department of Psychiatric Nursing on Friday, September 26, 2025, at 14:30 .
The event, held in the Ethem Erkoç Conference Hall, was moderated by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Serpil Yılmaz , and featured speakers Dr. Zehra Ünal and Social Worker Aliyenur Kantar . The panel discussed the individual and societal effects of addiction, risk factors, protection measures, and awareness campaigns.
The panel, which attracted great interest from students, took place in an interactive environment with a question-and-answer session and concluded with positive feedback shared by the participants.
